Leonardo’s Last Supper is an absolute masterpiece – one that should be viewed from a different perspective, taking into account the historical and religious context in which it was created.

The tour begins with a brief introduction to the personality of Leonardo and to the historical period in which the artwork was produced. We will then examine some of the preparatory sketches for the painting and compare them with other works that depict the same iconographic theme. This will allow us to fully understand the profound theological meaning and the innovative artistic and compositional choices of the piece.

To conclude, the visit includes an overview of the Dominican religious complex of Santa Maria delle Grazie, providing a complete and well-rounded experience.
